LoSheng had weathered the storm of April 16th, again.(News)
We want to thank you, all the supports around the world, sincerely.
Facing numerous protests domestically and internationally, the government had agreed to evaluate the alternative plan within two months.
However, the MRT department, Taipei City government, still refuses to adapt the original plan!
We have to tackle on...

The Storm is coming, again!
The Public Construction Commission (PCC) of the central government made the bad decision on May 30, that only 50% of the 4-hectare compound would be preserved. Ten important buildings will be tore town, and the residents' will be forced to evict!
What worse is, since there exists the geological problems, such as Ħ§negative faultĦ¨ and high underground water pressure, if some part of the site (the hill) was demolished, it will cause consequent damage on the geological condition. The remaining buildings could be collapsed. Finally, it's very possible that all the residents' would be forced to evict.
The decision from PCC is very irrational. They ignored many problems.
Firstly is the issue of geological condition. We had found out and highlighted the falsely made geological drilling report from the Taipei City MRT bureau to the PCC, but the PCC made the decision without considering this issue.
Secondly, the Taipei City MRT Bureau had admitted in the negotiation that the MRT could still operate and have the traffic service without constructing the depot technically. In other words, its totally unnecessary to demolish Losheng for the operation of MRT.However, this issue was also ignored by PCC.
Third, the inhabiting question of the residents was not discussed at all !
The tiger growth coalition, the Taipei County Government, might demolish and evict the Losheng Sanatorium after Mid June.
Could you image how depressed the leprosy grandpas and grandmas are now?
But we will never give up. We'll keep on fighting till the end!
